Information for Customers: Covid-19
In light of the current pandemic, Covid-19, we have made some adjustments to how the shop runs. These adjustments are subject to change as the situation develops and HM Government gives us more information and direction. Therefore, we would recommend checking this page regularly.
The shop email is now not being monitored, so all enquiries should go to firstname.lastname@example.org We are working on having the landline diverted to a mobile and will let you know when this is achieved.
29th March 2020
As we shared last time, our shop is shut to the public. We had planned to offer local collection of orders placed online but this will not be possible. The website will go live when we have secured a reliable courier service to enable our team to dispatch parcels without having to compromise their own safety by going to the post-office.
We have set up a Facebook Group to offer you a platform to keep in touch with one another, share your makes, and ask questions about patterns and what to do with your stash.
In addition, we are planning various virtual services, such as courses from our masterclass tutors, a “Crafters’ Question Time” on instagram, where we answer your crafting questions, and pattern support service. Further details TBA.
Knit and Stitch Night is going online – we know how important social contact is, especially in times when we are unable to leave the home. We have bought hosting rights to a conferencing website enabling us to host you for free, virtually, using a laptop, i-pad, computer or smartphone. Visit zoom.us and register for free (you do not need to provide your work e-mail: a personal one will do. Drop Gemma an email direct at email@example.com to register with us so we can let you in!
All events from 21st March – 21st August inclusive are postponed. They will be rescheduled from September onward and everyone who has booked a place on any of our courses, masterclasses, workshops or events will automatically have a place. If, when these dates are released, you are unable to attend, please contact us directly to arrange a refund. It would be a huge help to us if you would wait until we are able to arrange the new dates before contacting the shop as we are currently working round the clock to make adjustments to how the shop will run.
Thank you so much for your understanding and your continued support of our independent LYS. We are determined to keep providing for you as a community and battling the isolation of social isolation. We appreciate each and every one of you.
With best wishes
Team Yarn Dispensary.
