Markets in Faversham

Faversham is a truly unique historic market town, with three chartered markets every week on a Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. The first Sunday of each month sees an antique market take place, and there are also festive markets and fairs on throughout winter 2019.

Saturday 23rd November 2019 – Faversham Lights Switch On.
This fun event starts at 9am with school children taking to the stage in front of our Guildhall to sing carols and festive favourites, then proceeds throughout the day with stalls, food, music, and of course the excitement of the lights switch on. The Yarn Dispensary will be in full festive flow and open until 7.30pm.

Sunday 8th December 2019 – Faversham Christmas Market
The first of the special Christmas markets, in the heart of the town centre, will be packed with stalls selling locally produced food, gifts and drinks. Of course The Yarn Dispensary is open and we have our own festive fayre of locally produced yarns and gifts from local artisans!

Sunday 15th December 2019 and 22nd December 2019 – Faversham Christmas Market with Live Music
The second special Christmas market has all the delights of the first but with live music at 10am and 1pm. The Yarn Dispensary is open from 10am – 4pm with an array of gifts and treats for makers.
